Wapa® implies; ‘Look Good, Vibrant and Alive’. Our trade slogan is “SOUGHT OUT”. We started to produce basic garments such as shirts in casual and formal in February, 2005. Since then, we have perfected the art and science of garment designing/making and produces varying garment targeted at the individuals, blue-chip companies and multinationals. Our approach to clothing and outer-garment production is to ensure our clients stand out but not out of place. Hence, we are poised to set fashion trends spiced with understated elegance. In December, 2012 our firm won the maiden edition of MTN Business Plan Competition with a grant of N20million naira. Also, in October 2014, we qualified and was awarded a grant of N10million naira by the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Finance Youwin 3 window. This has enabled us to acquire state of the art garment making equipments and has greatly improved our production process and delivery.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Adetola ADEBOWALE PGD (Creative Director)

The Production team is led by Adebowale Adetola, who is a model, seasoned style expert, professional tailor, draper, highly skilled in drafting pattern blocks and cordwainer. He has a BSc. in Business Administration and a Diploma in Dressmaking from the prestigious Nobel Afrik fashion school. He is also a Samsung Real Dreams and Aspiring Entrepreneurs Graduate (AEP 34) of Fate Foundation. His management skills spans from managing start-ups in medical radio-diagnosis for over seven and half years in management capacity. He is an astute fashion enthusiast and critic who leverages on creativity, craftsmanship and factory short cut methods in turning out trendy designs. Adetola was interviewed by Accenture UK and featured in Prince Charles foundation magazine- The Youth Business International (YBI) in 2014. He worked with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as facilitator and examiner alongside with KPMG during the CLOUDPRENEUR project in conjunction with Fate Foundation in 2015, Adetola is a sought after facilitator and consultant in areas of entrepreneurship, business plan writing, business process, loan and grant procurement, and garment making. Alfred Afolabi M.Sc(Real and Virtual Marketing/Sales) Alfred Afolabi is a qualified Industrial Engineer with over 8 years experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research and Quality Management. He is currently in charge of marketing strategy and planning, facility planning and layout, operations and quality control. He is also responsible for the design and implementation of our ecommerce segment which will feature our online virtual market with interactive portal. He has a Masters degree in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA.

Adeola ADEBOWALE AAT-ICAN, ACA (Finance Director)

Having worked as an intern with Omega Bank in 2002 where she was responsible for bank draft preparation. Prepared bank draft schedule and recorded received cheque and those forwarded for clearing. She was with Visafone between July 2008 and October 2008, as a Call Centre Agent, resolving subscriber related issues. With Zenith Bank from November 2008 till date as an Executive Assistant in the funds transfer unit (operation).She oversees the administrative and finances of the firm,. Also, she has an ND in Accounting, BSc. in Geography and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Certified Forensic Examiner (CFE)
